Potted Turkey Burgers

Ground turkey 12 Ounce
Chicken broth 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) (Divided)
Enriched white bread slice 1 , made into crumbs
Chopped green onion 1 Tablespoon , scallions
Fresh parsley 1 Tablespoon , chopped (Divided)
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Pepper 1/8 Teaspoon
Margarine 1 Tablespoon
Enriched all purpose flour 1 Teaspoon
Dijon style mustard 1/2 Teaspoon
Worcestershire sauce 1/8 Teaspoon



1 In a medium bowl, add turkey, 2 tablespoons broth, bread crumbs, scallion, 2 teaspoons parsley, salt, and pepper;mix well.

2 Form the mixture into 4 patties.

3 In a medium skillet, heat margerine until bubbly.

4 Add the patties and cook for about 5 minutes on each side until done.

5 Transfer to a platter and keep warm.

6 In the skillet, add the flour to the drippings and cook for 2 minutes stirring constantly.

7 Stir in the remining broth and bring to a simmer.

8 Add mustard and Worcestershire sauce and simmer, stirring constantly, until sauce has thickened.


9 Pour the sauce over patties and sprinkle with remining parsley before serving.
