COBB Chorizoburger- A great recipe for Grill and Smoker.
For sauce: | ||
Mayonnaise | 1 Tablespoon | |
Bbq sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
Balsamic vinegar | 1 Dash | |
For burger: | ||
Chorizo sausage | 3 , casings removed, rolled into 2 patty balls | |
White onion | 1 , sliced into rings | |
Bacon slices | 3 | |
Cheese slices | 2 (danish) | |
Burger buns | 2 | |
Lettuce leaves | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
GETTING READY:
Preheat cob grill with griddle plate.
MAKING:
For sauce, in a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, bbq sauce, balsamic vinegar and mix well.
Wrap bacon slices around onion rings as shown in the video.
Place patty balls over grill and smash to make patties.
Grill bacon wrapped onion rings too. Cover with a lid.
After a while, grill patties using indirect heat by placing rack.
Place cheese slices and onion-bacon rings and cook for a while until cheese melts.
For assembling, smear bottom buns with prepared sauce and top with lettuce leaves and prepared patties.
Top with more sauce and top bun.
