Cinnamon Buns - 12 Days Of Christmas

These are best straight out of the oven when the buns are warm and the cinnamon sugar and icing drizzle is ooey and gooey. This recipe is super easy to follow and prepare yourself.


Sifted all purpose flour 4 Cup (64 tbs)
Warm milk 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Egg 1
Melted butter 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
White sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , divided (plus 1 tsp extra)
Brown sugar 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Butter 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Cinnamon powder 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Icing sugar 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Cold milk 3 Tablespoon
Yeast 2 1/4 Teaspoon
Warm water 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)



In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast and mix well. Set aside till it turns frothy.

Preheat oven to 350°F.



In an electric mixer, combine milk, egg, melted butter, ¼ cup of sugar, flour and mix well.

Add yeast mixture and mix well until the mixture turns into dough.

For filling, combine ¼ cup white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon powder, soft butter and blend well.

Roll out dough and spread filling.

Roll and Divide the dough into 16 slices.

Place into greased baking dish, cover with cling wrap and allow to raise for 1 hour.

Pop into oven and bake for 30 minutes.

In a bowl, combine icing sugar, milk, melted butter and mix well for glaze.

Pour over baked and slighltly cooled cinnamon buns.



Serve and enjoy!
