Joe Wicks the body coach is back and this week he shows you that eating well can sometimes involve chocolate with these delicious and healthy sweet potato brownies.
Sweet potatoes | 17 1/2 Ounce | |
Dark chocolate | 3 1/2 Ounce | |
Oats | 1 Ounce | |
Whey protein | 3 Tablespoon | |
Baking powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
Egg whites | 4 | |
Orange zest | 1/2 , grated (from 1/2 orange) |
GETTING READY:
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
MAKING:
Peel and slice the sweet potatoes. Cook until it turns soft either in oven or microwave.
Using a masher mash the potatoes until it turn smooth.
In a large bowl, combine mashed sweet potato, oats, 90 gram of chocolate, whey protein, baking powder, cinnamon, orange zest and egg whites.
Mix well and transfer the mixture to baking dish.
Pop into oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Once done, allow to cool and cut into squares. Melt remaining chocolate and pour over brownies.
