Cranberry and Pecan Energy Bites

In this episode of We Heart Food we show you how to make cranberry and pecan energy bites, perfect for that extra bit of energy for the gym after work!


Rolled oats 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Chopped pecans 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Honey 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
Unsweetened coconut flakes 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Chopped pistachios 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Flax seeds 1/8 Cup (2 tbs)
Vanilla essence 1 Teaspoon
Coconut oil 40 Milliliter
Dried cranberries 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Unsalted peanut butter 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (Natural)
Sunflower seeds 1/8 Cup (2 tbs)



1. Pulse the nuts, dates, honey, cinnamon, salt in a food processor and blend until smooth and combined.

2. Pour into a bowl and stir through the remaining ingredients.

3. Shape into balls and leave in the fridge for at least 20 mins.



4. Serve as an anytime snack or quick bite, specially post workout, for an instant energy recharge.
