Betty's Broccoli With Piquant Lemon-Thyme Dressing -Christmas

Betty demonstrates how to make Cooked Broccoli with Lemon-Thyme Dressing for a Christmas celebration. The Lemon-Thyme Dressing makes an elegant dish for your holiday table.


Frozen broccoli spears 20 Ounce ((2) 10
Lemon juice 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Chopped fresh thyme 3 Tablespoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Paprika 1 Teaspoon
Ground black pepper 1/2 Teaspoon
Light olive oil 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)



1. Cook broccoli using method of your choice: boiling in water, steaming over boiling water, or using microwave oven. Cook until crisp-tender.



For Lemon-Thyme Dressing:

2. In a bowl, combine lemon juice, thyme, salt, paprika, and pepper.

3. Add olive oil in a slow, steady stream, continuing to whisk until blended.

4. Drain broccoli as soon as it is cooked. Arrange broccoli in serving bowl and drizzle dressing over top.



5. Serve and enjoy!
