Did you know you can make pumpkin bread just like Starbucks. It isn't hard to do at all. Imagine all of the money you can save if you make your own pumpkin bread from scratch that tastes just like Starbucks.

Pumpkin puree | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Vegetable oil | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (do not use olive or peanut oil) | |
Vanilla extract | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Pumpkin seeds | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , roasted, salted (1/3 | |

Non stick cooking spray | 1/2 Teaspoon |
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
2. Grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan with cooking oil spray and set aside.
MAKING
3. In a large bowl, sift and combine flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon, allspice, and clove. Mix well.
4. In a separate bowl, mix beaten egg, oil, pumpkin puree and vanilla.
5. Pour the mixture into the bowl with flour mixture and stir until the lumps are out. Do not over mix.
6. Into the greased loaf pan, transfer the batter and sprinkle pumpkin seeds on top.
7. Pop the pan in oven and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick when inserted comes out clean.
8. Remove the pan from oven and allow the bread to cool in pan for 5 minutes. Transfer to cooling rack and let cool completely.
SERVING
9. Cut into slices and serve.
TIPS
Instead of nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon, allspice, and clove you can use 2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice.
