Holiday Series: Sweet Cornbread Super Easy

So this is the last of the Holiday Series videos. This is your basic sweet cornbread that can be served with what ever you like. Anyone can do this recipe. Give it a try!


All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Cornmeal 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Granulated sugar 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Baking powder 2 Tablespoon
Salt 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Buttermilk 2 1/2 Cup (40 tbs)
Vegetable oil 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Eggs 5
Butter 3 Tablespoon , melted



1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Pour in the butter in a baking dish and set aside.


2. In a large bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly with a whisk.

3. Make a well in the center of the mix. Pour the buttermilk, oil, and eggs in the well. Using a whisk, mix well.

4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.


5. Serve with stew.
