Double Boiler Millet Bread

Ingredients

Whole wheat flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Millet meal 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Yellow cornmeal 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Baking powder 2 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Honey 2 Tablespoon
Pitted sun dried dates/3/4 cup raisins 1/2 Pound
Milk 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Melted butter 2 Tablespoon

Directions

MAKING

1. Sift whole-wheat flour, millet meal, yellow cornmeal, baking powder and salt and mix well. Mix fruit and honey and stir well.

2. Arrange on the top of a thoroughly greased double broiler and cook, covered, atop boiling water for 2 hours.

SERVING

3. Serve hot, sliced with honey or butter.
