Glazed Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Bread

This is a delicious, healthy bread that would be wonderful for breakfast, a snack or even dessert. Super easy to make and would be great to share with friends and family. Adapted from Lovely Little Kitchen via Kristy!


For bread:
All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Old fashioned oats 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
Cinnamon 2 Teaspoon
Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Vegetable oil 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Eggs 2 , beaten
Non fat greek yogurt 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Applesauce 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Vanilla extract 1/2 Teaspoon
Cooking spray 1
For glaze:
Powdered sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs) (or more to get your desired consistency)
Applesauce 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)



Preheat oven to 350F.

Grease loaf pans with cooking spray.


In a bowl, combine flour, oats, salt, cinnamon, baking powder and mix well.

In another bowl, combine sugar, oil, eggs, yogurt, applesauce, vanilla and mix well.

Add flour mixture and mix well.

Scoop into prepared loaf pan and pop into oven.

Bake for 45-50 minutes and allow to cool.

In another bowl, combine powdered sugar, apple sauce and mix well.

Glaze the cakes once cooled completely.
