Granulated sugar | 150 Gram | |
Baking powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
Bicarbonate of soda | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Ground cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
Eggs | 2 Large | |
Unsalted butter | 110 Gram | |
Ripe bananas | 500 Gram | |
Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon |
GETTING READY
1. Preheat the oven to 180 C.
2. Grease a loaf tin with butter. Coat with flour.
MAKING
3. Toast walnuts and set them aside.
4. Sift flour in a bowl. Add sugar, cinnamon, bicarbonate of soda, salt and toasted walnuts. Combine.
5. Slice bananas. Add softened butter, eggs and vanilla extract. Mash with fork.
6. Fold bananas with flour.
7. Pour the batter in the loaf tin and bake the bread for one hour.
8. Cool down for a little bit.
SERVING
9. Dust with icing sugar. Slice and serve.
