Beer bread is a type of quick bread that gets its flavor from beer! I added cheese and jalapeños to this easy beer bread recipe. Make it with any kind of beer you like for a fast, homemade bread that goes great with stew, barbecue, or just a snack. Beer bread also makes a great gift.
|Whole wheat flour||1 1/4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1 1/4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1/4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Salt||1 1/2 Teaspoon|
|Baking powder||4 Teaspoon|
|Grated sharp cheddar||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped pickled jalapenos||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter||2 Tablespoon , melted|
Preheat the oven to 350°C.
Grease loaf pan with butter.
In a large bowl, combine wheat flour, all purpose flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and mix well.
Add grated cheese, beer, jalapenos and mix well.
Transfer to loaf pan and top with melted butter.
Pop into oven and bake for 45-55 minutes.
Once done, allow to cool before slicing.
Serve with butter and enjoy!
