This is an easy and delicious recipe for Amish white bread, and also herb compound butter. Perfect to serve with any meal! Even though I baked the bread on the Kamado Joe, you can easily do this in your oven

For herb compound butter
Minced chives 2 Tablespoon (Fresh ones)
Minced thyme 1 Tablespoon (Fresh ones)
Minced sage 1 Tablespoon (Fresh ones)
Minced rosemary 1 Tablespoon
Salted butter 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) , cubed and softened
Extra virgin olive oil 3 Tablespoon
For homemade bread
Warm water 2 Cup (32 tbs) (At 105 F)
Sugar 2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
Active dry yeast 1 1/2 Tablespoon
Salt 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Vegetable oil 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (Plus more for coating the dough)
Bread flour 6 Cup (96 tbs) (Plus more for stretching the dough)

For Herb Compound Butter

1. In a food processor, pour extra virgin olive oil. Add chives, thyme, sage and rosemary and blend it all together.

2. Trasfer the herb mixture to a stand mixer. Add salted butter. Beat it all together.

3. Scoop out the butter over a saran wrap. Fold it well to make a log. Place it in the refrigerator to chill.

For Bread

4.  Pour warm water to a stand mixer. Add 1 1/2 Tablespoon of dry active yeast and sugar. Mix it well and let it sit for 10 minutes or until it foams.

5. Drop salt and oil to the mixer. Whisk it all together.

6. Gradually add bread flour with continous stirring until everything is well incorporated.

7. Take out the dough and stretch into a ball with floured hands. Drizzle a bowl with oil and roll the dough ball in the bowl so that it is evenly coated with a thin layer of oil.

8. Cover the bowl and keep it in a warm place for the dough to rise and double in size. Meanwhile prepare the kamdo grill to come to a temperature of 350 F.

9. Separate in 4 equal parts and place each part in mini loaf pans. Cover and let it rise in another warm place for 2 hours. Bake at 350 F for 2 hours.

10. Serve the bread with herb butter. Enjoy!
