Here is a fun twist on the traditional peach cobbler. Bourbon and maple make the dessert richer and a lot more robust.
Peaches | 8 Ounce (1 can, in light syrup) | |
Bourbon | 1 Tablespoon | |
Ground clove | 1 Pinch | |
Corn starch | 1 Teaspoon | |
Brown sugar | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Baking powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
Salt | 1 Pinch | |
Maple syrup | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
All purpose flour | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) |
GETTING READY
1. Pre heat the oven to 350 degrees Farenheit.
MAKING
2. Strain peaches for 30 minutes.
3. Add the bourbon,clove and corn starch.Mix well to coat peaches fully.
4. In a bowl, mix the flour, brown sugar and the baking powder.
5. To it also add the maple syrup.Do not over stir it and retain its clumpy texture.
6. Separate the peaches in individual ramekins and add the maple topping.
7. Bake for 20 minutes.
SERVING
8. Serve warm.
