MMM Homemade butter biscuits! These are super easy as they are drop biscuits, but the way you arrange the dough makes them look like you spent a lot of time making them.

All purpose flour 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) (375 mL)
Cake and pastry flour 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , sifted (125 mL)
Granulated sugar 2 Tablespoon (30 mL)
Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
Unsalted butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , cubed & frozen (125 mL)
Buttermilk 1 Cup (16 tbs) (250 mL)
35 % whipping cream 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (75 mL)
For dipping
Flour 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (as needed)

1. Preheat oven to 425 degree F or 220 degree C.

2. In a food processor, combine all-purpose and cake-and-pastry flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and frozen cubed butter. Pulse just to combine.

3. Transfer the mixture into a bowl and then stir in buttermilk and cream to make lumpy wet dough.

4. Using an ice-cream scoop or large spoon, portion dough into 9 scoops; coat with flour and shape.

5. Place 1 in centre of parchment paper-lined baking sheet, then arrange remaining scoops like petals around the centre scoop.

6. Pop in oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until golden and flaky. Remove from pan, and let cool on a rack.

7. Serve with for Chipotle beef and bean chilli and enjoy!
