Sausage, Egg, and Cheddar Biscuits - Sunday Breakfast.

Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Baking soda 1/2 Teaspoon
Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
Butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , frozen, cubed
Buttermilk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Egg 6
Sausage patties 6
Cheddar cheese 100 Gram
For dusting and brushing
Flour 2 Tablespoon
Buttermilk 2 Tablespoon



1. Place four in the freezer for few hours.

2. Preheat the oven to 450F.


3. In a food processor place flour, add salt, baking powder and baking soda, pulse to mix.

4. Add butter, pulse for about 10 seconds until the butter is broken to small chunks. Transfer to a large chilled mixing bowl. Mix gently until it forms a ball.

5. Transfer to a flat surface, dust the surface with some flour. Knead by folding over few times. Press the dough to form a 1/2 inch circle.

6. Cut into biscuits using a circular object. Knead the excess dough and repeat.

7. Place the biscuits on a baking tray and brush with buttermilk. Bake at 450F for 18 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.

8. Fry the eggs and the sausage patty along with the cheddar cheese. Cut the biscuits horizontally into half, place a patty with cheddar and a fried egg.


9. Serve with your choice of beverage.
