Betty's Dressed-Up Beets

Betty demonstrates how to make Dressed-Up Beets. This is a great side dish for a meal, or it can be served alongside a sandwich at lunch.


Onion 1 Small , thinly sliced
Butter 20 Gram (1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon)
Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
Chopped fresh parsley 1 Teaspoon
Canned whole baby beets 14 1/2 Ounce , drained
Ground sea salt 1/4 Teaspoon



1. In a frying pan, saute onion in butter over low flame until soft, but not brown.

2. Place drained beets into the pan with onion butter mixture and heat over low for 5 minutes.

3. Add lemon juice, parsley, and salt. Toss well cook until heated through.



4. Serve immediately and enjoy!
