Stir Fried Beef

Ingredients

Boneless round steak 6 Ounce
Vegetable oil 2 Teaspoon
Cauliflower flowerets 1 1/4 Cup (20 tbs)
Green pepper 1/2 , cut in 3/4 inch pieces
Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
Garlic 1/2 Clove (2.5 gm) , minced
Cornstarch 2 Teaspoon
Beef broth 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Green onions with tops 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) , chopped
Hot cooked rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Freeze steak partially.

2. Slice them diagonally to get 2- x 1/4 inch strips.

MAKING

3. In a preheated skillet or a wok add oil and heat it for 2 minutes on medium high flame.

4. Add the steak. Stir fry till the strips are brown.

5. Add green pepper, garlic, soy sauce and cauliflower.

6. Cover and reduce the heat.

7. Simmer for 10 minutes till the vegetables are crisp and tender.

8. Add broth and cornstarch. Keep stirring to prevent lump formation. Thicken the mixture.

SERVING

9. Serve stir fried beef with rice.
