Beef En Brochette

Beef sirloin tip/Beef top round 2 Pound , cut into 1
Canned pineapple chunks 13 1/4 Ounce (1 can)
Sauce/Bottled steak sauce 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (Heinz 57)
Dry white wine 2 Tablespoon
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Pepper 1 Pinch (large pinch)



1. Drain the juice of the pineapple, reserving 1/2 cup.

2. Refrigerate pineapple chunks until required.

3. In a bowl, combine the pineapple liquid with remaining ingredients.

4. Place the meat in a non-metallic dish. Pour the marinade over the meat.

5. Mix well, cover and refrigerate the beef. Let marinate for 2 to 3 hours, stirring the meat

6. occasionally.

7. Season 6 bamboo skewers in lukewarm water for at least 30 minutes.

8. Prepare a barbecue or preheat the broiler or grill.


9. Drain the meat from the marinade.

10. Thread beef and pineapple chunks alternately on skewers, allowing 4 to 5 pieces of meat and 5 to 6 pieces of pineapple for each skewer.

11. Brush with marinade and season lightly with salt and pepper if you like.

12. Grill or broil 3 inches from heat source for about 5 minutes on each side, turning and basting frequently until done to preferred degree of doneness.


13. Serve the Kebabs immediately with a dipping sauce.
