Yummy ribeye steak with a coffee rub and jalapeño compound butter. The BEST STEAK RECIPE EVER.
Beef steak | 1 Pound ((1 inch thick preferably ribeye steak)) | |
Chili powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Ground coffee/Instant coffee powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Black pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Jalapeno | 1 ((jalapeno butter)) | |
Minced cilantro | 2 Tablespoon ((both leaves and stems used)) | |
Garlic clove | 1 |
MAKING
1.Combine dry seasonings and rub into steak on both sides.
2.Heat a heavy skillet over high heat. Add steak. Reduce heat to medium.
3.Cook 8 minutes. Turn. Cook an additional 6-9 minutes depending on preference.
4.Remove from skillet and let rest on cutting board for 5-10 minutes.
SERVING:
5.Serve topped with jalapeño butter and a squeeze of lime juice.
