I have always wanted to make jerky out on the grill but was unsure how my grills would be able to hold a low temp for a long period. But now with my new Traeger grill it was easy.
Beef | 2 Pound , sliced into 1/4 inch pieces | |
For marinade | ||
Worcestershire sauce | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
Teriyaki sauce | 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) | |
Liquid smoke flavoring | 3 Teaspoon | |
Soy sauce | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Onion powder | 4 Teaspoon | |
Garlic powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
Cayenne powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
Black pepper | 4 Teaspoon | |
Sea salt | 1 Tablespoon | |
Red pepper flakes | 1 1/4 Tablespoon | |
Brown sugar | 4 Tablespoon | |
Honey | 2 Tablespoon | |
Maple syrup | 1 Tablespoon |
GETTING READY
For marinating - In a large bowl, add in all the ingredients and stir well.
Add in the beef slices and let it marinade overnight.
Next day, preheat the grill.
MAKING
Take out the beef slices and place on a rack. Place that rack over the grill and let it cook for 5 hours; in between turn the slices to cook thoroughly.
SERVING
Serve with your favorite sandwich.
