Boiled Soy Beans

Learn how to boil soy beans.


Mix of soybeans with shell and soybean pods 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Oil 1 Tablespoon
Carom seeds 1 Tablespoon
Turmeric powder 1/4 Teaspoon
Salt 2 Teaspoon ((use as per taste))
Water 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Green chili paste 1 Teaspoon
Garlic paste 1 Teaspoon



1. In a pressure cooker, add oil, carom seeds, soybean mixture, turmeric powder, salt to taste, water, green chili paste and garlic paste to taste and give a good stir.

2. Cover it and steam up to 1 or 2 whistles for about 15 minutes and then let the pressure cool down.


3. Spread onto a serving plate, sprinkle some 1 tbsp sesame seeds and coriander chopped and serve.
