Onion and Green Pepper Baked Beans

Ingredients

Onions 2 Large , sliced and separated into rings
Butter 3 Tablespoon
Pork and beans/1 can, 16 ounce, canned pork and beans 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Chopped tomatoes 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , cooked
Catsup 2 Tablespoon
Green pepper 1 , seeded and sliced into rings
Brown sugar 3 Tablespoon
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
Pepper 1/4 Teaspoon
Lean bacon strip 4

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Preheat the oven at 375°.

MAKING

2. In a pan heat butter and saute onions until just limp.

3. Add remaining ingredients except bacon and turn into a 1 1/2-quart casserole.

4. Arrange bacon strips on top and bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.

SERVING

5. Serve the baked beans with bacon strips slightly brown on the top.
