Granola Breakfast Bar

Granola is considered healthy with natural ingredients like seeds, nuts and grains. It takes the shape of the bar in this recipe. Along with nutrients if provides energy and feeling of fullness for a long time.


Porridge oats 200 Gram
Flax seed 2 Tablespoon
Chopped dried dates 200 Gram
Cinnamon powder 1 Pinch
Chopped dried figs 100 Gram
Vanilla extract 1/2 Teaspoon
Goji berries 75 Gram
Pumpkin seed 2 Tablespoon
Blueberries 75 Gram
Agave nectar 1 Tablespoon



1. In a pan toast the porridge oats till golden. Set aside.

2. In another pan bring water to boil, put in the figs and dates. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for another 45 minutes. It should reduce to half the original quantity.

3. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees C.


4. To the pan with dates and figs, add goji berries, blueberries and flax seeds. Leave it for 10 minutes, then add the remaining ingredients and mix well till combined.

5. Pour it into a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool before cutting into bars.


6. Serve the bars cold and set.
