Chewy toffee goodness in a cookie bar! Who will want brownies or plain old blondes once they've had these tasty bars made with Skor bits?

Unsalted butter 180 Gram (3/4 cup)
Packed brown sugar 550 Milliliter (2 1/4 cups)
All purpose flour 500 Milliliter (2 cups)
Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
Salt 1 Pinch
Chopped pecans 175 Milliliter (3/4 cup)

GETTING READY

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degree F or 180 degree C.

2. Grease and line an 8x8" baking pan with parchment. Set aside.

5. In a dry fry pan, lightly toast the pecans over medium heat.

6. Add egg, one at a time into the saucepan with cooled butter and sugar mixture.

7. Stir in vanilla extract and then add the dry ingredients. Mix until combined.

8. Fold in the toffee and toasted pecans.

9. Spread the batter into the prepared pan.

10. Pop it in oven and bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown and a cake tester inserted into the centre comes out clean.

11. Allow it to cool for 15 minutes, remove from pan and slice into bars.
