Asparagus with Bacon and Parmesan - English Grill and BBQ Recipe

An excellent recipe to prepare grilled asparagus. Prepare and serve as a side.

Ingredients

Sunflower seeds 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Asparagus 1 Pound , ends trimmed
Freshly grated parmesan 2 Ounce
Bacon slices 6

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Prepare the grill for cooking.

 

MAKING

2. Roast sunflower seeds in a cast iron skillet and set them aside.

3. Place the asparagus on the grill and let them sear. Transfer the asparagus to a cast iron skillet on indirect heat.

4. Put bacon slices on the grill and let them cook until crispy and done. Crumble and set it aside.

5. After 15 minutes of cooking asparagus over indirect heat, sprinkle freshly grated parmesan cheese over it. Toss in roasted sunflower seeds and mix well.

 

SERVING

6. Place the aspragus on a serving dish, sprinkle crumbled bacon and serve.
