Shish Kebabs

These Shish Kebabs are divine!Try the Shish Kebabs out for a snack with any spicy sauce of your choice and let me know what you liked it best with


Lamb leg steak 2 Pound
Pearl onion/6 medium onion 12
Capsicum 1
Salad oil 3 Tablespoon
Wine vinegar/Lemon juice 3 Tablespoon
Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm)
Onion 2 Tablespoon
Tomato 1
Freshly ground black pepper To Taste


Trim excess fat from lamb and cut into 1-inch cubes.

Parboil onions, cutting larger ones in half lengthways.

Wash and remove stem and seeds from peppers and cut into 1-inch squares.

Mix marin ade ingredients in a bowl and add lamb pieces.

Allow to marinate for 1 hour, turning meat occasionally.

To prepare kebabs, thread onto 4-6 skewers alternatively, lamb pieces, onions, capsicums and tomato.

Brush with marinade and barbecue over glowing coals for 4-6 minutes, turn and brush with marinade during cooking.

Serve immediately.
