Spring Fried Chicken

This Spring Fried Chicken recipe is crispy and delicious. It is one of the top Asian versions that you will surely love.


Cornish game hens 2
Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
Fish sauce 4 Tablespoon
Dark brown sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Cooking wine 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)



1. In a small bowl, add in all the marinade ingredients and mix well.

2. In a Ziploc bag, place the chicken and pour in the marinade, massage well. Seal the bag and refrigerate for 3 to 5 hours.


3. In a steamer, pour in the water and let it boil. Steam the marinated chicken for 40 to 50 minutes.

4. Remove the chicken from the steamer and place over a wire rack. Leave for 2 to 3 hours until the skin becomes dry.

5. In a deep fryer, heat the oil and fry the chicken at 350F for 8 to 10 minutes or until the chicken turns medium to golden brown.

6. Remove from the fryer, transfer to a serving plate.


7. Serve the chicken with banana sauce and fried rice.
