How To Make Simple & Delicious Hummus

This is such a simple, yet delicious appetizer, dip or spread. I love to serve it with fresh cut veggies and warm pita bread. You can also enjoy it on toast at breakfast, for lunch in a pita with falafel, as a dressing on a salad, or on top of a burger with grilled onions! The possibilities are quite endless.

Ingredients

Canned chickpeas 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Garlic cloves 5 , diced (4
Lemon juice 5 Tablespoon (or to taste)
Water 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (or liquid from chickpeas)
Tahini 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (sesame paste)
Red chili pepper flakes To Taste
Smoked paprika 1 Teaspoon

Directions

MAKING

1. In blender, add chickpeas, salt, garlic, lemon juice, water, tahini, and red chili pepper flakes. Blend well. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

SERVING

2. Garnish with smoked paprika and serve with veggies and pita.
