How to Make Sweet and Sour Pork Curry (Easy Pork with Pineapple)

Learn how to make Sweet and Sour Pork Curry at home using simple ingredients and an easy method. This Pork curry tastes great with rice, over noodles or with any flatbread.


To marinade pork
Pork 500 Gram
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Red chili powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste 1 Tablespoon
Turmeric 1 Teaspoon
Other ingredients for curry
Oil 3 Tablespoon (2
Onion 1 Small , finely chopped
Red bell pepper 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , chopped (or any color)
Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
Vinegar 1 Tablespoon
Tomato ketchup 1 Tablespoon
Pineapple pieces 250 Gram
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Corn starch 1 Tablespoon
Water 1 1/4 Cup (20 tbs) (if needed)
To fry pork



1. In a bowl, marinade pork with salt, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, and red chili powder. Mix well and set aside for 15-20 minutes.


2. Place a pan on flame and heat oil in it. Add onion and bell pepper. Sauté for about 2 minutes.

3. Add soy sauce, vinegar, and ketchup. Stir well and add pineapple pieces. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until caramelized.

4. In a separate pan, heat oil and pan fry the marinated pork pieces until lightly browned.

5. Transfer the pork into the pan with curry and then pour water. Season with salt and bring to a boil.

6. In a glass, dissolve cornstarch into ¼ cup of water and pour it into the pan. Cook until the curry is thickened.


7. Serve over fried rice or along with flat bread and enjoy!
