Pan Fried Tofu Asian

Moon Cho shows you how to make pan fried tofu with a very special dipping soy sauce with sesame seed, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and scallion. Such a simple and easy recipe you can make in half hour. Great Asian appetizer or snack. For this recipe, you can find all the ingredients in your local supermarket.


For the tofu
Firm tofu cake 14 Ounce , cut into 6 equal pieces
Canola oil/Sunflower oil 2 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
For the dipping sauce
Soy sauce 4 Tablespoon
Rice vinegar 2 Tablespoon
Hot pepper flakes 1 Teaspoon
Scallion 1 Medium , diced
Sesame oil 1 Teaspoon
Sesame seeds 1 Tablespoon



For The Tofu

1. Pat dry the tofu pieces with paper towel and sprinkle salt on both the sides.

2. In a pan heat oil. Place the tofu pieces in it and sear them on both the sides till golden brown (do not overcrowd the pan, give space between each tofu piece). Transfer them on to plate.

For The Dip

3. In a bowl add all the ingredients and mix well till combined.


4. In a serving plate, arrange the tofu pieces and pour the dip on top and serve warm.
