Wakame Seaweed Salad

If you've never thought that you can make green and vibrant salad out of the pantry, think again. You can easily make this Wakame Seaweed Salad any day of the year with long lasting ingredients from your pantry!

Ingredients

Dry wakame seaweed 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Boiling water 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Cilantro 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) , chopped
Green onion 2 , chopped
Sesame seeds 2 Tablespoon
Chili pepper 1 , finely chopped (Optional)
For dressing
Rice vinegar 2 Tablespoon
Light soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
Palm sugar 1/2 Teaspoon
Garlic clove 1 , crushed
Ginger paste 1 Teaspoon
Roasted sesame oil 1/2 Teaspoon

Directions

GETTING READY

1. In a bowl, soak wakame seaweed in boiling water and set aside.

MAKING

For Dressing

2. In a bowl, combine rice vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Mix and set aside until sugar dissolves.

For Salad

3. Drain water from seaweed, add cilantro and onion.

4. Pour dressing, sprinkle sesame seeds and chili pepper. Mix well. Taste and add more sesame oil and sugar if needed.

SERVING

5. Serve and enjoy!

TIPS

You can add carrot, radish or anything you like into the salad.
