Stir-fried Shrimp And Broccoli

Ingredients

Main ingredients:
Broccoli florets 2 Cup (32 tbs) (approx 4 ounces)
Garlic 1 Tablespoon
Red hot pepper 1/2 Tablespoon , thinly sliced (Optional)
Green hot pepper 1/2 Tablespoon , thinly sliced (Optional)
Green onion 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Grape seed oil/Cooking oil 1 1/2 Tablespoon
Sempio hyangshin sauce 1 Tablespoon
Sesame seeds 1/2 Tablespoon
For the shrimp:
Raw shrimps 20 Medium (approx 5 ounces or 2/3 of a cup)
Cooking wine 1 Tablespoon (Optional)
Salt 2 Pinch
Black pepper 2 Pinch
For the noodle:
Somyeon noodles/Thin noodles 2 1/2 Ounce
Sesame oil 1/2 Tablespoon
Water 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon

Directions

GETTING READY:

1)In a bowl combine the shrimp with the cooking wine(optional), salt and black pepper powder. Set it aside to marinate and for the flavors to combine well.

2)Start to boil 3 cups of water in a medium sauce pan to save time while you get ready with the other ingredients.

3)On a chopping board cut 2 cups worth of broccoli florets off the stem into about 1 inch sized pieces. Slice the garlic thinly and cut the green onions into 1/2 inch pieces, chop the red and green peppers into 1/4 inch pieces(optional) and set all the chopped ingredients aside.hot

MAKING:

4)Heat a pan with grape seed oil or cooking oil and add garlic to the pan and fry for 10 seconds on medium high.

5)To the pan now add the shrimp and broccoli. Stir in the Hyangshin sauce to the pan and fry for 4 minutes on medium high heat.

6)Into the saucepan with boiling water now add the somyeon noodles along with salt and cook for about 3 to 5 minutes on high or until the noodles are cooked.

7)After the noodles are cooked quickly strain and wash the noodles twice with cold water and strain to stop the cooking process and to get rid of any floury taste.

8)Place the noodles in a large bowl and mix in the sesame seeds and sesame oil. Make sure they are combined well but be gentle while mixing.

9)After the shrimp and broccoli are done cooking combine with hot peppers and green onions and fry for another minute.

10)Turn off the heat and spread some sesame seeds on top for added flavor.

SERVING:

11)Serve the stir fried broccoli and shrimp with the noodles on the side and eat everything together, Enjoy!

TIP:

You can use other kinds of meat or firm tofu instead of shrimp.
