Turkish Tacos

Ingredients

Lean ground lamb 1 1/2 Pound
Small onion 1 , minced
Egg yolks 3
Saffron 1/8 Teaspoon , soaked in teaspoon water
Cinnamon 1/8 Teaspoon
Cumin 1/8 Teaspoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Fresh ground pepper To Taste
Green pepper 2 , cut into 12 1
Pita bread piece 6

Directions

MAKING

1. In a bowl, combine the first 8 ingredeints together and mix properly

2. Take the meat mixture and form it into sausages, 6 pieces and about 5 to 6 inches long

3.Take a skewer, and pierce a green pepper, a sausage and another green pepper

4. Meanwhile, in the lamb mixture press the pepper till molded to skewer properly, keep doing this till all sausages are on the skewer.

SERVING

5. Serve the skewered sausage and green pepper with pita bread

6. Spread with yougurt sauce, garnish with sliced onion and tomatoes too
