Marinated Meatball Kebabs

For the marinade
Soy sauce 3 Tablespoon
Sweet onion 1 Tablespoon , grated
For the meatballs
Lean ground beef 1 Pound
Soy sauce 2 Teaspoon
Pepper 1 Pinch
Sweet green pepper 1 Large
Cherry tomatoes 1 Pint , washed



1) FOR THE MARINADE: Take a pie plate and combine onion with soy sauce.

2) FOR THE MEATBALLS: Using two forks, break the beef apart in a bowl. Add soy sauce and onion to the beef. Toss and combine.

3) Shape mixture into 12 1 1/4 inch meatballs.

4) Place balls in the marinade and turn to coat evenly. Leave aside for 10 minutes but no longer than that.

5) Cut pepper into 1 inch pieces.

6) Take 4 large skewers and arrange cherry tomatoes, green peppers and meatballs alternatively. Brush marinade over the kebabs.

7) Broil the skewers for 6-8 minutes or until meatballs turn brown keeping the kebabs 4-5 inches from the source of heat. Turn and brush with the marinade on the other side. Broil for another 6 minutes or until meat browns are cooked completely.


8) Serve the meatball kebabs sizzling hot!
