Beef and Vegetable Kebabs

Ingredients

Boneless beef steak 2 Pound , cut into 1
Vegetable oil 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Wine vinegar 2 Tablespoon
Onion powder 1 Tablespoon
Basil 1 Tablespoon , crushed
Garlic powder 1 Teaspoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Thyme 1/4 Teaspoon , crushed
Black pepper 1/4 Teaspoon
Zucchini 1 Pound , cut into 1/2 inch chunks
Fresh mushrooms 8
Cherry tomatoes 8

Directions

GETTING READY

1) In a covered bowl, place the beef.

2) Combine together the basil, oil, onion powder, vinegar, garlic powder, salt, thyme and pepper. Mix well.

3) Pour the mixture all over the beef.

4) Cover the place in the fridge for 2 hours.

MAKING

5) On skewers, alternately thread the meat and zucchini. On the end of each skewer.

6) Use the marinade to brush the vegetables.

7) In a broiler pan, arrange the skewers.

8) Under a preheated broiler, place the skewers and cook as desired, occasionally turning and brushing with marinade.

9) At the end of each skewer, place 1 tomato and broil for another 1 minute.

SERVING

10) Serve the kebabs while they are still piping hot. These make a good appetizer.
