Using my Tfal OptiGrill, this recipe is flavor packed with Asian ingredients like Lemon grass, Soya sauce, chilli oil, ginger and garlic and many more, tossed with veggies and Udon Noodles and topped with perfectly cooked steak.
Grated ginger | 2 Teaspoon | |
Crushed garlic | 2 Teaspoon | |
Shallot | 1 Small , sliced | |
Palm sugar | 1/2 Teaspoon , crushed | |
Chilli oil | 4 Tablespoon | |
Sesame oil | 4 Tablespoon | |
Chilli flakes | 1 Teaspoon | |
White pepper | 1 Teaspoon | |
Dark soya sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
Fish sauce | 3 Tablespoon | |
Lime juice | 2 Tablespoon (from 1 lime) | |
Finely chopped coriander | 3 Tablespoon (leaves and stems) | |
Loin steak | 8 Ounce | |
Udon noodles | 8 Ounce | |
Mixed peppers | 8 Ounce , sliced | |
Carrots | 8 Ounce , julienned | |
Sugar snap peas | 8 Ounce | |
Lemon grass stalk | 1 | |
Crushed peanuts | 2 Tablespoon |
MAKING:
In a bowl, combine garlic, ginger, shallots, palm sugar and mix well.
Add chilli oil, sesame oil, fish sauce, soya sauce and mix well.
Add chilli flakes, pepper powder, lime juice, coriander and mix well.
Marinade both sides of steak with prepared mixture.
Peel lemongrass and tap with knife to release flavors.
Boil water and add lemon grass and salt to it. Cook noodles according to package instructions.
Drain and transfer to bowl.
Cook steak till medium and once done slice it.
Add peppers, carrots, sugar snap peas and remaining marinade to noodle bowl. Toss well.
Add steak, crushed peanuts to noodles.
