Drunken Kalbi,Korean BBQ Short Ribs

So I got this recipe from Ale Meals and of course I had to tweeze it up a bit, put the Rootboy spin on it, as it were, but it's still basically the same.

Ingredients

Beef short ribs 5 Pound
Ale 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Packed brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Soy sauce 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Pilsner 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Rice vinegar 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Onion 1 Small , peeled, finely grated
Asian pear 1 Small , peeled and finely grated
Minced garlic 4 Tablespoon
Dark sesame oil 2 Tablespoon
Sriracha sauce 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Red pepper flakes 1 Tablespoon

Directions

GETTING READY:

In a large bowl, combine ale, pilsner, soy sauce, grated pear, garlic, onion, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sriracha sauce, red pepper flakes and mix well.

Pour over short ribs in a dish, cover with cling wrap and refrigerate overnight.

Place into ziploack bag and add brown sugar into it. Mix well and allow to marinade overnight in refrigerator.

Preheat grill.

 

MAKING:

Place on grill and cook until internal temperature reaches 130°C or until done.
