So I got this recipe from Ale Meals and of course I had to tweeze it up a bit, put the Rootboy spin on it, as it were, but it's still basically the same.
Watch the video for the tweeze!
|Beef short ribs||5 Pound|
|Ale||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Packed brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Pilsner||1/4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Rice vinegar||1/4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Small , peeled, finely grated|
|Asian pear||1 Small , peeled and finely grated|
|Minced garlic||4 Tablespoon|
|Dark sesame oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Sriracha sauce||1/4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Red pepper flakes||1 Tablespoon|
In a large bowl, combine ale, pilsner, soy sauce, grated pear, garlic, onion, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sriracha sauce, red pepper flakes and mix well.
Pour over short ribs in a dish, cover with cling wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Place into ziploack bag and add brown sugar into it. Mix well and allow to marinade overnight in refrigerator.
Place on grill and cook until internal temperature reaches 130°C or until done.
Serve and enjoy!
