Caramel Apples -Happy Halloween

This is a fun and easy recipe that makes a delicious treat for Halloween.

Ingredients

Apples 8 Medium , stems removed, washed in hot water, dried
Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Packed brown sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Light corn syrup 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Sweetened condensed milk 14 Ounce (1 can)
Vanilla 2 Teaspoon
Toppings 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (chopped nuts, mini candy pieces, sprinkles, etc

Directions

GETTING READY:

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Insert popsicle stick into apple and place on baking sheet. Set aside.

MAKING:

In a saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, condensed milk and cook over medium heat.

Stir constantly until it reaches 235-240F or soft ball stage.

Once it reaches soft ball stage, stir in vanilla and dip an apple in it.

Turn apple until it is well coated.

Once it gets well coated, coat with desired toppings and place on prepared baking sheet.
