AMP energy drink, simply known as AMP, is an energy boosting beverage produced by PepsiCo, introduced in the year 2001. AMP is a citric drink enriched with several nutrients viz. taurine, ginseng, B vitamins, and complex carbohydrates.

Having been introduced in the year 2001, initially the drink was sold under the brand name “Mountain Dew”. It was only in the year 2009, that it began to be sold by its own name, i.e. “AMP”.
