Betty demonstrates how to make a Corn Oil Pie Crust for Mother's Day. This pie crust is made especially to accompany a Mother's Day pie, which will be in the next video of Betty's Kitchen, but this crust may be used for any purpose.

All purpose flour 18 Tablespoon (1 cup+ 2 tbs)
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Corn oil 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Ice cold water 2 Tablespoon

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and corn oil. Mix well.

2. Gradually add the cold water and mix to combine.

3. On a piece of floured wax paper, place the dough, sprinkle more flour, cover with another piece of waxed paper and roll to fit into your pie plate.

4. Remove the top wax paper, sprinkle flour and again cover it back. Flip and slowly transfer it over to the pie plate. Flute the edges as shown in the video and brush corn oil to avoid drying.

5. Use as desired.

For baked pie crust, prick with fork and bake at 400 degree F for 8-10 minutes.
