Baking Falafel Patties

Ingredients

Hot water 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Fresh lemon juice 2 Teaspoon
Chick peas 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Dry ingredients
Garbanzo bean flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Sea salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Baking soda 1/4 Teaspoon
Parsely flakes 1 Teaspoon
Ground cumin 1/2 Teaspoon
Ground coriander 1/4 Teaspoon
Garlic powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Onion powder 1/4 Teaspoon
For greasing
Oil 1 Teaspoon
For garnishing
Chick pea 2 Tablespoon

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a baking tray with oil.

MAKING

2. In a medium sized bowl, sift together all the dry ingredients. Add in the lemon juice and hot water, stir to form a paste. Add the chick peas, mix again.

3. On the baking tray, place 1 inch scoop sized ball of the mixture. Slightly flatten the balls. Bake at 350F for 10 minutes.

SERVING

4. Decorate by placing a chick pea at the center of each falafel, serve.
