In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Creamed Spinach. This is a lovely way to serve spinach as a side dish on your dinner table.

Butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Whipping cream 2 Cup (32 tbs) (I used 1 cup whipping cream and 1 cup of skim milk)
Shredded parmesan cheese 2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs) (or shaved)
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon (or to taste)
Ground nutmeg 1/2 Teaspoon
Freshly ground black peppercorn 1/2 Teaspoon
Fresh spinach 18 Ounce , coarsely chopped
Other ingredient
Shaved parmesan cheese 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Toasted pine nuts 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)

1. In a large saucepan or skillet, place butter and whipping cream. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

2. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring often for 15 minutes or until somewhat thickened.

3. Stir in shredded Parmesan cheese, salt, ground nutmeg, and black pepper.

4. Add fresh spinach and cook over low heat, for 3 minutes or until spinach is wilted, stirring often.

5. Into a nice bowl, ladle the mixture and place additional shaved Parmesan cheese in the center.

6. Sprinkle toasted pine nuts on top.

7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
