Microwave Boston Brown Bread

Ingredients

Whole wheat flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Corn meal 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Breakfast cereal 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (100% Bran)
Raisins 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Walnuts 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , chopped
Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Buttermilk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Molasses 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)

Directions

MAKING

1. In a large glass microwave mixing bowl mix all the dry ingredients and then add liquid ingredients. Mix till just combined.

2. Pour the mixture into the greased glass measuring cup and cover tightly with plastic wrap. Cook covered on HIGH (9) for 5 minutes. Let this sit for 5 minutes. Turn out onto glass serving platter. Cook on HIGH (9) for 2 minutes till cooked through

SERVING

3. Serve hot
