Finally sharing my "top secret" hot sauce recipe with you! I mentioned this a while back in my video about fried tacos and now you can make your own - my chile de arbol salsa/hot sauce only has 4 ingredients and it's really simple and delicious on chips, tacos, eggs, meat, empanadas, pizza, popcorn??? YES.
Dried chile de arbol | 3 Ounce (85 grams) | |
Garlic | 6 Clove (30 gm) (20g, peeled) | |
Salt | 2 Teaspoon (12g) | |
Water | 2 Cup (32 tbs) (500ml) | |
Apple cider vinegar | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (500ml) |
MAKES 24 OUNCES:
MAKING:
Cover chiles and garlic cloves with boiling water.
Let it soak for 3 hours or longer.
Drain and add to blender.
Add salt, water, apple cider vinegar and blend until smooth.
Pour into jar and cover loosely.
Allow to age for a week.
Seal well for storing up to 6 months at room temperature.
SERVING:
