Betty demonstrates how to make an Easy Raspberry Cobbler. This cobbler is made of raspberries (or any fruit), which are placed in a thin batter and baked. It is delicious with vanilla ice cream!

Ingredients

Butter stick 1
All purpose flour
Baking powder 1 Tablespoon
Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Raspberries 8 Cup (128 tbs) (rinsed and patted dry)

Directions

Making

Place butter in 9-inch by 13-inch by 2-inch Pyrex baking dish. Melt in a 350 degree(F) oven.

While butter is melting, make a thin batter: Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and milk until smooth, using medium speed of an electric mixer.

Remove baking pan and melted butter from oven.

Pour batter in center of buttered baking dish.

Place fruit in center of batter, spreading slightly.

Bake at 350 degrees (F) until crust is beginning to brown and get crisp, about 40 to 45 minutes.

Remove from oven and cool slightly.

Serving

Serve warm, topped with vanilla ice cream.
