Betty's Whisky Sundaes -- KY Derby, 2016

Betty demonstrates how to make Whisky Sundaes for Derby Day in Kentucky (May 7, 2016). These sundaes can be used as a dessert or as a drink. They contain Makers Mark bourbon whisky.

Ingredients

Bourbon whisky 1 1/2 Tablespoon , divided
Whipping cream 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , whipped
Green food colouring 3 Drop
Vanilla ice cream To Taste
Chopped pecans To Taste
Maraschino cherries 6

Directions

Making

Fold tablespoon bourbon whisky into whipped cream.

Tint pastel green, using a few drops of green food coloring. Set aside.

In sherbet glasses, place 2 or 3 dips of vanilla ice cream.

Pour tablespoon bourbon whisky over the top of the ice cream.

Serving

Top with whipped cream, sprinkle with chopped pecans, and garnish with a maraschino cherry. Serve immediately and enjoy!
