Bettys husband, Rick, demonstrates how to make a Creme de Menthe Parfait. This is a delicious and pretty dessert for St. Patrick's Day. This dessert contains alcohol.
|Green Crème de Menthe, as needed|
|Vanilla ice cream, as needed|
|Sweetened whipped topping, as needed|
|Green maraschino cherries, as needed|
Put 1 tablespoon Crème de Menthe in the bottom of a sundae glass.
Place a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream over the top of the liqueur, and push it down with a long spoon, allowing some of the Crème de Menthe to come up the sides of the glass.
Keep adding Crème de Menthe and vanilla ice cream alternately until almost at the top of the glass.
Place a dollop of sweetened whipped topping over last layer and top with a green maraschino cherry.
