Betty's Brown Sugar Blondies

Betty demonstrates how to make Brown Sugar Blondies. This is a sweet snack that can be cut into squares or bars.


Butter 2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs) , softened
Firmly packed brown sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Eggs 2
Vanilla extract 2 Teaspoon
All purpose flour
Baking soda 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon



In a large bowl, use an electric mixer on medium speed to cream butter and brown sugar together. 

Add eggs. Beat well. Add vanilla. Beat well. 

In a medium-sized bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir into creamed mixture. 

Spread mixture into a greased 9-inch by 5-inch by 2-inch Pyrex dish or baking pan. 

Bake at 350 degrees (F) until toothpick inserted in deepest part comes out clean, about 20 to 30 minutes. 


Cool and cut into squares or bars. Transfer to nice serving plate.
