For the fish:
White fish 1 Pound ((tilapia, cod, even shark))
Ground cumin 1 Teaspoon
Crushed anise seed 1/4 Teaspoon
Crushed black pepper 1/2 Teaspoon
Chili powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Cornmeal 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) ((heaped, not leveled))
Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon ((might need 3 to coat a large skillet))
Thinly sliced cabbage 2 Cup (32 tbs)
For the topping:
Diced onion 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Chopped cilantro 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Jalapeno 1/2 , minced ((use more if you want it hotter; remove seeds if you want it less hotter))
Lime juice 2 Tablespoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Mayonnaise 2 Tablespoon ((start with one, add more if you feel like it))
